The first is a change to the existing incentive for 1st time buyers, which increases the amount individuals can withdraw from their RRSP from $20K to $25K with up to 15 years to repay the withdrawal without penalty. The second is a new tax credit for 1st time home buyers, which allows you to claim a new tax credit of up to $750 on closing expenses incurred to a maximum of $5,000.
